Althouse was a New Mexico pioneer in home performance testing. 

Infrared scanning

Infrared cameras see BTUs escaping and locates thermal bypass. Once areas of heat loss are identified, the most economical measures to cut a heating bill can be selected.

Infiltration testing

Air leaks in a homes' exterior can be located with a blower door test. A blower door is also required to prove the tightness of a home for Energy Star.

Duct testing

30% of the heating bill of the City of Albuquerque is leaks in duct work.  A duct blaster can find leaks in existing ductwork or prove air tight ducts for Energy Star.
